Past Presidents of the Board of Directors for OCD New Hampshire

Jodi Langellotti – Immediate Past President. Jodi brings a background in education, training, project management, marketing, and fundraising to the board.  As an outspoken advocate, Jodi is looking to help those living with OCD in the granite state and their loved ones gain better access to resources and treatment.  OCD and anxiety are matters that hit close to home for Jodi as a caretaker and family member of people with OCD and anxiety disorders.  Jodi is a certified ACEs Master Trainer and a Mental Health First Aid Instructor. Jodi and her husband Chris have been featured on The OCD Stories Podcast and have presented at various OCD/mental health related conferences.

Don Vardell, M.S. – Don Vardell was the Executive Director of a unique and specialized residential treatment center for adolescents and emerging adults suffering from debilitating OCD and anxiety disorders.  Mountain Valley Treatment Center, located in Plainfield, New Hampshire, is a nationally accredited and licensed program and an organizational member of the International OCD Foundation.  Don’s background included serving at the helm of several private healthcare and education organizations and through his work and personal experience Don could appreciate the struggles families can have when a loved one is struggling with OCD.   Don was a board member of  OCD NH from 2017 to 2020. Don passed away in August of 2020. His memory lives on in the work that we do.

Szu-Hui Lee, Ph.D. –  Dr. Lee received her Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in 2006. Dr. Lee completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the MGH/McLean Hospital’s Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Institute where she later became the Director of Training. Currently, Dr. Lee is a psychologist at Phillips Exeter Academy. Dr. Lee continues to hold an appointment as a Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School and is the Course Director of the Multicultural Training Seminars at McLean Hospital. She actively participates in the psychology training program at McLean supervising pre-doctoral interns and postdoctoral fellows. As a professional and personal passion, Dr. Lee enjoys conducting trainings on treatments of anxiety disorders for professionals and students nationally and internationally. Dr. Lee has a private clinical practice specializing in OCD and related disorders located in Exeter, NH.

Elizabeth Ellis Ohr, Psy.D.  Dr. Ohr is a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her doctoral degree from Immaculata University in 2009. She completed post doctoral training at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety (CTSA) at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.  At CTSA, Dr. Ohr participated in OCD research as a clinician and project manager. She conducted trainings of mental health professionals, practicum students, and psychiatry residents. Dr. Ohr continues to work as a consultant with CTSA. She has private practice in Portsmouth, NH where she specializes in Exposure/Ritual Prevention Therapy for OCD and Cognitive Behavioral Treatment for anxiety disorders.
